Technical Assistance

Technical assistance is available upon request to any child care provider in Manatee County to help improve classroom curriculum and quality.

Both training and technical assistance are available in a variety of areas such as curriculum, lesson planning, room arrangement, equipment selection, educational and developmental standards, health and safety, positive guidance, involving families in the program, communications with families, documenting child progress, developmental milestones, transitioning to kindergarten, etc. ELC staff will work with teachers and directors to development a comprehensive improvement plan to increase program quality.
