DCF state requirements are that everyone working in the childcare field must complete the 40 hour training.

The modules that will be covered are as follows:-

Facility Rules and Regulations                 Saturday February 25th 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Child Abuse and Neglect  -                       Saturday March 3rd 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Health Safety and Nutrition                       Saturday March 10^th  9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Child Growth and Development               Saturday March 24th 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Behavioral Observation & Screening      Saturday March 31^st 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Preschool Appropriate Practices               Saturday April 14th and April 21st

                                                                        9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on each day

Exams will be offered at State College of Florida, Lakewood Ranch on Saturday, April 28^th 2012 or at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Bradenton on Saturday, May 5^th 2012
