Early Childhood Education in Florida is at Risk!
Four bills propose sweeping changes to Florida’s early learning system. They are:
· PCB BCAS 12-04 by Business & Consumer Affairs Subcommittee
· 5103 by Representative Coley
· HB 7055 by Representative Gaetz
· PCB PKAS 12-02 by Prek-12 Appropriations Subcommittee
This legislation, which is being fast-tracked by the Florida House of Representatives, proposes statutes that would eliminate approximately 58% of the children currently served in Manatee County through the Early Learning Coalition.
